Lisa Howard is an experienced coach, facilitator, and trainer who is deeply committed to fostering continuous growth and development for herself and others through intentional and insightful coaching and facilitation. She brings a warm, welcoming presence and intuitive wisdom that creates an engaging, open, and choice-filled environment where transformation becomes possible.Lisa's professional journey has been deeply guided by her formative years teaching special education and unique depth of experience in Adventure-based learning. Over the past decade her work has been increasingly guided by her study and practice of yoga, presence, and mindfulness, and continues to be shaped by her ongoing learning in the field of human growth and development.

What is Presence-Based Coaching?
Presence-Based Coaching is an approach to personal development coaching that emphasizes the importance of cultivating both presence and partnership within the coaching relationship. Through deepening presence and working in partnership, clients are able to gain a greater sense of agency in moving beyond habits and patterns that no longer serve and access a radically accelerated path to growth and development.Many clients come to coaching for:

RISE™ is Kripalu’s research-based program for self-regulation in the face of stress. Rooted in Kripalu’s deep legacy of wellness practices and grounded in more than a decade of research and tested application, the RISE™ program provides a pathway to understanding the stress response paired with tools and practices that empower a more skillful approach.
Through accessible practices of meditation, breath, and gentle movement, learn how to:

Adventure Facilitation Training
Adventure Facilitation is a very different methodology from traditional teaching and presenting. While it might seem like "just" fun and games, there's actually a lot more intention and design that goes into it, as well as a lot of skill required in facilitating specific outcomes through discussion.Adventure facilitation training is designed for classroom teachers, retreat leaders, or any facilitator or trainer in a group learning environment who wants to bring more engagement and experiential learning into their work.Workshop Content Includes

Deep Nature Connection
A guided hike can become a powerful learning experience when we practice mindfulness to deepen our awareness of and connection to the land. Through this practice of presencing and noticing, we learn how to expand our capacity for resilience as modeled by the more than human world.Customized experiences at alternative locations available upon request.
Outdoor Coaching
Take your outdoor experience to the next level with a coaching walk. This can be a great way to enliven the energy and shift perspective on a tough topic or challenge. In person walks deepen rapport between coach and client. New or potential clients can choose this option to get coaching on one topic of concern before deciding on a longer term package.
